At eTakeoff, we realize that training is a critical component of our products. We also understand that the time our users spend training is time not spent doing the work assigned to them. So we try to make training as convenient and efficient as possible.
Getting Started
Anyone who downloads an eTakeoff product (even a free product)
will receive an email with advice on how to get up to speed quickly.
Tip of the Day
When you install an eTakeoff product, the Tip of the Day feature
is turned on. Each time you start eTakeoff, a new tip appears.
The first few tips repeat the advice offered in the "Getting Started"
email. From there they go on to more advanced techniques.
Each tip has a brief description with a button that links to
full documentation.
Demonstrations
eTakeoff offers a series of demonstration videos that show
how to use our products. These demonstrations are available
from within the product documentation and also on-line.
On-line, go to the Product
Description, select the desired product and choose
"Demonstrations" from the menu on the left.
On-line Video Training
In addition to the demonstrations, some group training sessions
have been recorded and are available at any time. As with
the demonstrations, go to the Product
Description, select the desired product and choose
"Demonstrations" from the menu on the left.
On-line Group Training
Some support packages include group training. Group training sessions
are scheduled in advance to address specific topics.
Multiple individuals view the trainer's computer while
participating in a conference call. The training finishes with
a question and answer period.
On-line Personal Training
Some support packages include personal training or it can be purchased directly.
With personal training, you connect via the internet to the trainer's computer
while conversing on the phone. The trainer can demonstrate functionality
or even give you control of the keyboard and mouse to try it yourself.
