Zooming with the Mouse Wheel
Just put the mouse over a point on the drawing,
then roll the mouse wheel forward to zoom in, back to zoom out.
Scrolling with the Mouse Buttons
To scroll, just press both the left and right mouse buttons,
then drag the drawing left/right or up/down.
No need to use the scroll bars.
The Close-up Window
Many viewers have a close-up window.
But we put the close-up window right under the mouse when you’re measuring.
Press and hold the mouse button.
The window pops up right under the mouse so you can measure
right down to the individual pixel.
The Bird’s-eye Window
This window shows the entire drawing,
highlighting the current zoom area in the main window.
Most other viewers tile the birds-eye window.
We float it and allow you to move and resize it.
Using Dual Monitors
eTakeoff is designed to work well with multiple monitors.
You can fill one monitor with the drawing window;
then put the bird’s-eye window and the quantity worksheet on the other monitor.
You must see this powerful tool.
